Purpose

Orient security and compliance teams to public enforcement and MDL materials arising from the 2017 Equifax breach—FTC and CFPB orders, plus the civil MDL track—without duplicating full order text.


1. FTC stipulated order (2019)

The order (read the PDF) imposes a comprehensive information security program, assessments, and consumer redress obligations, among other terms.


2. CFPB action

Review the Bureau’s posted order and complaint for parallel consumer protection findings and remedies.


3. MDL and consumer redress (orientation)
